An in-depth 12-week course offering practitioners and ministerial students a broad range of studies which provide a grounding and richness for Pastoral Care.

 Students explore such topics as…

• Creating Community

• Facilitating Communication & Change

• Creating Programs for Supporting Spiritual Life

• Care & Counseling for Major Life Transitions

• Pastoral Burn-Out

Students will be challenged to contemplate personal responses to subjects including: abortion, premarital sex, same-sex marriages, abuse, job loss, care of the elderly, chronic illness, death and conflict in the spiritual community. 

You will learn how to care for yourself and your community, how to listen and counsel, and how to create programs that enrich the spiritual life of faith communities.
