BUDDHISM The thought manifests as the word. The word manifests as the deed. The deed develops into habit. And the habit hardens into character. So watch the thought and its ways with care. And let it spring from love, born out of concern for all beings. THE BUDDHA |
TAOISM If you want to nourish a bird, you should let it live any way it chooses. Creatures differ because they have different likes and dislikes. Therefore the sages never require the same ability from all creatures. . . concepts of right should be founded on what is suitable. The true saint leaves wisdom to the ants, takes a cue from the fishes, and leaves willfulness to the sheep. CHUANG TZU |

SUFISM
THE SUBJECT TONIGHT IS LOVE
The subject tonight is Love And for tomorrow night as well. As a matter of fact, I know of no better topic For us to discuss Until we all Die!
Hafiz, "The Subject Tonight Is Love," Version by Daniel Ladinsky |
HINDUISM
Blessed are they who keep God as their goal and strive accordingly. Zeros have no value, but they gain in value when linked to the number one. God is the number one and all the worldly things are zeros. Independent of God, they are mere ciphers, but when associated with Him, they gain in importance.
